As they say, two’s company, three’s a crowd. Cabernet Sauvignon provides the backbone, Merlot the smooth texture. Perfect company. Sweet red berry and fruitcake flavours with a light bite of pepper, followed by a bouquet of red berries and blackcurrant.
Before being farmed, old maps show our vineyard as an animal sanctuary. A light creamy aroma; smooth citrus flavours that are typical of the Chardonnay grape, with hints of stone-fruits at high end of the palette. A soft and juicy tropical mouthful lingers.
One of the vineyards is a historical site, as it was a stopping point for the mail run in the late 1880’s. Fresh floral fruit; ripe and rich floral grapefruit and guava aromas with a zesty finish. A wine for any occasion!
Our Orange vineyard is planted at 870m altitude where cool nights produce the best quality Sauvignon Blanc - fresh herbaceous notes balanced with aromatic tropical fruit characteristics. Hunter Semillon completes the experience with hints of apple and citrus zest on the palette.
Grown in the cool climate and volcanic soils of our Orange vineyard at Borenore, or ‘North Bore’. This wine gets its name from the underground water found in this area. This wine is characterised by mouth-filling raspberries, blackcurrant and clove spice notes with a lingering finish.
Tamburlaine Organic Wines is the largest producer of Organic wine in Australia. We believe in leading others down a path less travelled. Redefining wine, using Contemporary Organics both in our Orange and Hunter Valley vineyards and in our winery.
